How to Clean & Maintain Your AirFit F40 Mask System
Clean your mask regularly to maintain hygiene, preserve silicone elasticity, and ensure a leak-free seal. Discard any component showing visible wear, cracking, or tears.
- Daily Maintenance: Disassemble the cushion, quick-release elbow, short tube, and QuietAir vent ring. Soak in warm water with mild liquid detergent, ensuring no air bubbles are trapped.
- Weekly Maintenance: Disassemble and soak the fabric headgear and fully flexible frame in warm soapy water.
- Hand wash components thoroughly with a soft bristle brush. Pay special attention to the micro-holes on the QuietAir vent ring.
- Rinse all parts under clean running water. Squeeze excess water from fabric headgear and frame parts.
- Allow components to air dry completely on a clean surface out of direct sunlight.
Recommended Replacement Schedule
- F40 Silicone Cushion: Replace once (1) monthly
- Mask Frame System: Replace every three (3) months
