Unlock New Possibilities with Customized Power Seat Elevators

Schedule a Consultation
We believe in empowering your child to reach their full potential and experience life from a better perspective. Our Power Seat Elevators provide them with the ability to raise their seat 10- to 14-inches, allowing them to get eye-level with peers and access hard-to-reach surfaces with ease.

A Tailored Experience for Your Child

Our Power Seat Elevators, like all Complex Rehab Technology, are individually configured to meet your child's specific needs. We offer a wide range of customizations, including:

  • Adjustable width, depth, height, and seat angles
  • Specialty and custom seat and back cushions
  • Positioning aids such as headrests, trunk and hip supports
  • Advanced powered tilt and recline functions
  • Manual and power elevating leg rests and foot platforms
  • Specialty joystick controls and alternative drive options

The Benefits of Power Seat Elevators

Power Seat Elevators offer multiple advantages for your child, including:

Easier Transfers

Easier downhill transfers, reducing stress on arms and shoulders.

Reduced Risk of Injury

Reduced risk of overuse injuries from constant reaching and overextension.

Enhanced Accessibility

Enhanced accessibility and freedom to engage in daily life.

Eye-Level Interaction

Eye-level interaction with friends and family, promoting empowerment and well-being.

Who Can Benefit from This Technology?

  • We at Binson's believe that everyone with a power wheelchair can benefit from Power Seat Elevators.
  • This feature is particularly helpful for children who engage in frequent transfers.

Understanding Medical Necessity and Insurance Coverage

To secure insurance coverage for Complex Rehab Technology, your provider must determine that your child has a "medical necessity" for the equipment.

This means the Power Seat Elevator is required to prevent, diagnose, or treat an illness, injury, condition, disease, or its symptoms.

Most providers only offer coverage if your child has a significant impairment limiting their daily activities.

A note for families: Medicaid may cover parts, service, and additional mobility products to enhance your child's community access.
