Customer Service positions
Customer Service Representative

Qualifications: Education: High School graduate or equivalent experience.

Primary Purpose of Position: Responsible for patient and order entry, as well as order generation through our system in order to meet company-established profit margins. Resolves concerns from existing customers to include problem resolution and complaint calls.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  1. Obtain all necessary information from new customers to include, but not limited to, name, address, diagnosis, physician, product needs, and insurance information, to generate clean orders and accurate billing.
  2. Entry of product into system ensuring company profit margin guidelines are met.
  3. Answer incoming telephone calls from customers.
  4. Obtain verbal or written order from physician prior to order generation as required by insurance and company policies.
  5. Accurate and timely entry of new customer information into the computer system. Generation of customer orders.
  6. Problem resolution of missing orders to include UPS/USPS tracking.
  7. Daily processing of purchase order exception reports.
  8. Calling customers from the department call rosters.
  9. All other duties, as assigned.

Deliveries positions
Delivery Tech

Qualifications: Education: High school diploma or equivalent. Must have good communications skills and be able to lift objects and equipment not to exceed 100 lbs. Must have a valid Michigan driver's license with no more than 4 points; must possess a chauffeur's license, possess knowledge of tri-county area roads, and successfully pass DOT exam upon hire.

Primary Purpose of Position: This position is responsible for driving Company vehicles over established routes to deliver products to patients in the home in a timely and professional manner; collects money from customers when applicable; and processes related paperwork.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  1. Drives truck to deliver medical supplies/equipment to customer's home or place of business.
  2. Collects money from customers, makes change, and records transactions on customer receipts.
  3. Processes and distributes all paperwork including admission packets, DME orientations, patient instructions, and rental contracts.
  4. Informs regular customers of new products or services.
  5. Listens to and resolves complaints while in the customer's home.
  6. Sets up merchandise, disassembles, or moves objects in customer's home.
  7. Collects or picks up rejected or not needed merchandise. Must be familiar with return equipment identification system.
  8. Loads truck.
  9. Issues or obtains customer signature on receipt for pickups or delivery.
  10. Cleans inside of truck. Performs routine maintenance on truck and reports problems.
  11. Obeys all State of Michigan and Binson's driving rules/regulations.
  12. Performs home assessments and DME orientations of all equipment delivered.
  13. Follows all safety procedures when lifting equipment and picking up contaminated or infected equipment and follows ground adapter safety procedures when setting up equipment.
  14. Familiar with store security procedures, the emergency preparedness plan, quality assurance procedures, and commission programs for department.
  15. Valid DOT card.
  16. Trained in hazardous materials.
  17. Familiar with inventory control and requisitions, including order tracking and logging in rental equipment.
  18. Performs inter-Company transfer of merchandise when necessary, per Company procedures.
  19. Records lot numbers/oxygen cylinders.
  20. All other tasks, as assigned.

Warehouse positions

Qualifications: Education: High school diploma or equivalent. Requires excellent communication skills, ability to work independently and with other Company personnel, data processing skills, ability to lift 60 pounds.

Primary Purpose of Position: This position is responsible for the filling of all orders for delivery, sales, or external operations, along with handling of inventory for BHS operations.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities: Essential duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  1. Picking of all orders and sales floor stock.
  2. Computer entry of goods transferred to the warehouse.
  3. Fill and/or confirm orders computer generated and/or manually prepared orders.
  4. Perform cycle/perpetual inventory counts.
  5. Daily picking of supplies for other locations and placement in appropriate bins.
  6. Cleanliness of all inventory controlled.
  7. Storage of all rental equipment in an organized and safe environment.
  8. Pulling of equipment for delivery and answering calls regarding equipment in warehouse.
  9. Notifying supervisor of equipment shortages.
  10. Sweeping and cleaning of warehouse
  11. Professionally packaging product for shipment via USPS, UPS or Binson's Truck.
  12. Maintain working relationship with all Customer Service, Delivery, Warehouse, and Service Department personnel.
  13. Process outgoing USPS packages.
  14. Ensure that the warehouse environment/your work area is kept in a clean, orderly fashion at all times.
  15. Any other related duties as assigned by supervisor or director.

Retail Sales Associate - Livonia, Center Line, Southgate, Royal Oak, Troy

Qualifications: High School diploma or equivalent; ability to meet physical requirements of job (i.e. standing on feet for entire shift); ability to work well independently and with others; excellent communication skills; professional appearance; some computer skills; ability to merchandise and provide superior customer care.

Primary Purpose of Position: This position is responsible for all daily activities involved in the retail environment (i.e. Sales, rentals, requisitioning, stocking, cleaning, training, etc.).

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  1. Manage the day-to-day operations of the business including:
    • Perform sales and rentals.
    • Use of cash register.
    • Follow Company policies/procedures.
    • Requisitioning of product.
    • Stocking shelves/rotation of inventories.
    • Cleaning displays, shelves, overall work areas.
    • Answer phones for sales floor calls.
    • Enter patient information in computer systems.
  2. Maintain an effective working relationship with staff, customers, and referral sources.
  3. Fill in for Customer Service when necessary.
  4. Other related duties as assigned by Manager or Assistant Manager.
