Once the client's insurance
information is compiled and verified by a Binson's
representative, the client/caregiver is informed
of the insurance coverage for medical equipment
and supplies.
If a client has more than one
insurance plan, such as Medicare and Blue Cross
and Blue Shield of Michigan, the entire charge
or co-payment may not be due. In most situations,
the secondary insurance will cover a portion of
the co-payment; the remaining balance will vary
depending on the type of secondary plan.
If a client has no insurance
coverage, financial arrangements can be made.
Binson's department managers should be contacted
to discuss alternative funding sources and/or
client payment plan.
In addition, Binson's Home Health
Care Centers works closely with non-profit organizations
(ie., Karmanos Cancer Institute, Muscular Dystrophy
Association, Hospice Organizations, Cystic Fibrosis
Association, American Lung Association, American
Diabetes Association …) to provide clients
with equipment requirements.
