And then you slipped. That is sadly how too many terrible walker falling stories begin. We here at Binson's are here to help you prevent those terrible incidents from happening again with a few simple tips!

  • Ensure that your walker is always within reach of someone close to you to allow for you to have easy access and to prevent unnecessary falling.
  • Make sure that the walker is opened up all the way and that you hear a little click on the device that will lock the swinging legs into place.
  • Measure the height of the walker and make sure that it is the correct height for the individual that is operating the walker. (The correct sizing and height for the walker is based upon the height of the hips of the patient using the equipment.)
  • Lastly, make sure to check your walker tips regularly to ensure that they are in usable condition.
