Hello again, we're back with the food favorites for the week! This week we're going to be trying something a little different and simple, Seared Salmon with Pesto Fettuccine. Now this recipe sounds complicated however I'm here to tell you that it only takes 20 minutes to cook up and be ready to serve! Bon Appetit!

  • 8 ounces of Whole Wheat Fettuccine
  • 2/3 cups of pesto
  • 1 and 1/4 pound of Wild Salmon (skinned and cut into 4 portions)
  • 1/4 teaspoon of salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon of ground pepper
  • 1 tablespoon of extra-virgin olive oil

Now that we've collected everything that we'll need for the recipe, lets get started!

Stpe #1:

Boil a large pot of water and add fettuccine noodles. Stir until tender (~9 minutes). Then toss with Pesto.

Step #2:

While letting the water boil, season salmon with salt and pepper. Then heat up a cast iron/non-stick skillet to medium high. Add salmon. Turn once and leave on heat for each side for approximately 4 minutes (or until opaque in center).

Step #3:
