3 Ways to Prevent the Flu!

Its the winter season, and the biggest problem that the average individual has to fight against during this dreary season is the Flu.

It can be debilitating, dehydrating and overall just turn the nicest and peppiest person on the planet into a grouch. However we're here to just let you know that while we can't prevent you from getting the flu, we can give you several ways to keep it at bay longer than ever before!

Step #1: Honey

Now this seems like a very interesting way to keep things at bay, however it works quite well. Honey has a large quantity of healing properties that keep bacteria away. Modern medicine is now delving deeper into the healing properties of this amazing food.

Step #2: Sleep

When your body is tired, you are much more susceptible to germs. The Flu is no exception to this rule. When you are tired, the flu finds it much easier to attack you. That is why you need to make sure that you are getting adequate sleep, whatever that means for you. Maybe this means that you go to bed a little earlier than normal to ensure that you get the rest you need, or maybe you just need to keep doing what you're doing because its working.

Step #3: Wash Your Hands

This one seems to be common sense, but in all reality its something that we should revisit. Why do we wash our hands? Many people would say because its good hygiene, but no matter how true that statement is there is a greater reason! Your hands are a great vehicle for germs and by washing them it is important to get rid of those bacteria to ensure that you're staying healthy!
